Michele Aileen Reider, (Kolb) 61, of Greeley Colorado, formally of Fort Collins, passed away at home on Monday April 3, 2017.
Michele was born in Albuquerque NM to Scot A Kolb and Joanne Kolb in May 2, 1955. In 1973 she graduated from High School in Hotchkiss Colorado and in 1986 from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business finance. Michele’s early life was spent in the banking and mortgage business. She worked for Home Federal Savings, World Savings and 1st National Bank all in Fort Collins. Her banking friends will fondly recall the time she accidentally locked herself in the bank vault spending hours until a customer discovered her, embarrassed, but laughing.
Friends and family will remember Michele for her fantastic cooking and southwest cuisine. She was an outdoors woman excelling at horseback riding, fishing, camping and just about any sport that caught her eye. She was always the life of a party who know how to laugh and who made friends quickly.
Michele met Rick Reider in the early 80’s; they married and had two children. While their marriage ended in the 90’s they had the fortune of sharing their life with two successful children loved deeply by their mom. Their daughter Morgan Agho (Reider) resides in Calabasas CA, and son Austin Reider resides in Virginia Beach, VA. Michele was proud of her granddaughter Adalyn Agho and was looking forward to meeting a second grandchild later this summer.
Michele wished to be cremated and asked Rick and her children to intern her ashes in her favorite spot. Family and friends will miss Michele’s good nature, her cookin, her laugh, and her friendship. She will be remembered.
