Known affectionately as “Rocketman” during his time with NASA, he will always be remembered as a friendly, energetic man full of the spirit of exploration and a love of life.
Ron was a deeply spiritual man and to those who knew him, his love for God and strong belief in the afterlife was admired and respected. “Absent from the body, present with the Lord”, was a quote Ron was fond of. Although we mourn the passing of Ron from these earthbound shackles, his loved ones know that he is in the loving embrace of our Almighty Father and once again, reunited with his parents and friends from long ago. Those that loved Ron know that we all shall meet again in that place where there is no pain.
