Obituary for Ronald Dolt Sr.

Ronald Dolt Sr.
Ronald Alan Dolt Sr. , age 74, died of Heart Failure on April 7th, 2017, in Greeley, Colorado.

Ron is survived by his devoted son, Ronald Dolt Jr. (Patricia) and also his son Daniel; his siblings George, David and Karen; and his beloved grandchildren Laura, Elizabeth, Shannon, Melissa and Noah and cherished great grandchildren Isabella and Michael.

Ron was born on February 3rd, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania , to parents George and Dorothy Dolt. He graduated from Mastbaum Technical High School in 1961. In 1984, he moved to Titusville Florida and accepted a position as a Quality Assurance Specialist at NASA, where he worked for more than 20 years

Ron was a member and Past Master of the Masonic Order Mitchell Lodge No. 296. Ron worked on many high profile projects during his time at NASA, which included the Hubble Space Telescope and the Galileo Jupiter Probe. Known affectionately as “Rocketman” during his time with NASA, he will always be remembered as a friendly, energetic man full of the spirit of exploration and a love of life.

Ron was a deeply spiritual man and to those who knew him, his love for God and strong belief in the afterlife was admired and respected. “Absent from the body, present with the Lord”, was a quote Ron was fond of. Although we mourn the passing of Ron from these earthbound shackles, his loved ones know that he is in the loving embrace of our Almighty Father and once again, reunited with his parents and friends from long ago. Those that loved Ron know that we all shall meet again in that place where there is no pain.
