Valerie Lewis, 59, of Livermore, Colorado, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2018, in Greeley.
Valerie was born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to William and Gretchen (Graves) Lewis on August 10, 1958.
She was a wonderful person with lively and caring eyes who took great joy in assisting others. Her Mountain Maid business was an outlet for her to clean house and help others in the Red Feather Lakes area. Valerie was known to be full of love which she shared with everyone and had a subtle way too of putting you in your place. Her strong personality radiated with confidence and beauty.
Valerie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She often came bearing gifts of love which she usually made herself. She loved making things with her hands for family and friends such as blankets, meals, treats, and picture collages. During the Christmas of 2017, Valerie made fifty coffee cakes that she delivered to her extended family, friends, and neighbors. She always lived by the motto “Go big or go home!” and “Life is too short to wear boring clothes.”
She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
Valerie is survived by her children, Ryan Bloom, and Helena (Joseph V) Hill; grandchildren, Joseph VI & William Hill; siblings, Michael (Jeanette), Marty, and Tom (Cindy) Lewis; her mother; and a large loving family.
