The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.
There are way to many stories involving Kim. What sticks out the most is camping. You see, as kids we would go camping every week-end. Starting Memorial Day and endng with Labor Day, with a weeks long vacation stuck in there in the middle. He did love to fish..... Once while camping he washed my hair in ice cold water. In which I instantly regretted telling him my hair needed washin'. He liked teasing me about his dad naming there pet pig after me. "Ole Suzy Q" It took me years to convince him that I was his favorite cousin. BECAUSE HE WAS MINE. I thank him for being there for me the times I needed him. Like when he fixed all the broken windows in my trailer house. Just charged me a meatloaf dinner for his hard work. The time he protected me from a bad boyfriend that hurt me. Even the time he helped me hide smoking from a new boyfriend. I pray he knows how much I love him. I hope he knows how much I appreciated him, especially him coming to my mom's funeral in the shape he was in.
