Obituary for George Voightmann

George Edward Voightmann, 72, of Greeley, CO, died December 27 at Banner Health Medical Center in Greeley.

He was born August 18, 1946, in Aurora, IL, to George and Louise Baroni Voightmann.

He was an Agent Orange Vietnam Veteran. George married Sharon in 1981 and they blended a family of five children, Scott, Michele (Tony), Craigg (Sheila), Heather (Bryan), and Amy (Brad). He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his brother, Jim (Gloria); five children, and 10 grandchildren. He is remembered for his love of family and of all things trains.
George’s passion was his business Gandy Dancer Productions, through which he produced and sold educational and historical railroad videos for many years.

A Celebration Service will be held on February 18, 2019, at 2 pm at Colorado Model Railroad Museum, 680 10th Street, Greeley CO.
