Paul Louis Villa Sr., 84, of Greeley, went to be with the lord on February 4, 2019 in Greeley.
Paul was born in Greeley, Colorado to Reynaldo Villa & Carmen (Valenzuela) Villa on August 17, 1934. On December 19, 1954 in Greeley, Colorado, Paul married the love of his life, Alicia (Martinez) Villa.
Paul is mostly known for his love of baseball. He was a LA. Dodger’s fan so much that he bleed Dodger blue. He played semi-professional baseball for the Greeley Gray’s and was known for being the first Latino to play varsity baseball for Greeley High. Paul also loved to bowl and play golf. His athletic ability and competitiveness was unmatched. Paul worked for Monfort’s Beef Plant for over 40 years and he created lifelong friendships with his coworkers. Paul lived out all his days in Greeley.
Paul is survived by his children, George (Eleanor) Villa, David (Jeanette) Villa, Paul Villa Jr., Laura (David) Cordova; grandchildren, George Jr., Jennifer, Shannon, Paul David, Karlee, Matthew, Jacob, Elizabeth; 8 great-grandchildren, and a large loving extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Steven; siblings, Emma, Mickey, Richard, George, Anita Villa.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 14th, 2019 at Christ Community Church 1301 15th Street, Greeley.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Mr Paul Villa. I hope that you have many wonderful memories to console you in your time of loss. I became acquainted with Mr Villa as a Meals on Wheels Volunteer. He was always so kind hearted and loving. The last thing he said to me as I left each Tuesday was Thank You so much and God Bless you.
