Lorraine Mirick, 85, of Greeley, passed away on July 21, 2018 in Greeley.
Lorraine was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to Clarance and Alevia (Croft) Raymus on September 15, 1932. On July 4, 1960, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Lorraine married the love of her life, JD Lorance Mirick, Jr. She remained married to JD until his death 44 years later. JD Lorance served in the Navy for 20 years before retiring.
Lorraine worked for many years as a care provider. She loved to travel and camp out. Her favorite thing to do was cooking; she collected many cookbooks over the years and enjoyed cooking, canning and baking.
Lorraine is survived by her children: Eddie Mirick, Gloria (Herb) Usher, and Claudia (Dan) Wheeler; Granchildren, Robin Nicole Jackson, and Ryan Anthony (Amanda) Mirick; great-grandchildren, Gabriella Nicole Jackson, Emma Arron Jackson, Savannah Grace Mirick and McKenna Hope Mirick; and a large loving extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings, Clarence, Charley and Ioloa.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on September 15, 2018, at The Adventure Church, 4100 W. 20th Street, in Greeley, Colorado, 80634.
