Bill was born August 25th1953 in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania where he grew up with his six siblings. After marrying in 1974, he and his wife, Sandy, moved to Colorado in 1979, where they raised their two children, Jodie and Will. An avid outdoorsman, he loved Colorado’s wilderness and spent much of his time hunting, fishing, camping and exploring. Bill’s professional career was spent in the auto body repair business and he practiced his trade locally for 35 years. Recently, he took great pleasure in perfecting his outdoor cooking skills and his amazing beef jerky recipes, much to the delight of family and friends. Bill was incredibly proud of his family and found joy in spending time with them.
Bill is survived by Sandy, his devoted wife of 45 years, their children Jodie (Damon Smith) and Will (Jana), grandchildren Cieara and Denalli, his sisters Mary, Donna and Crystal and his twin brother Earl.
Bill’s family will be sharing photos and stories from throughout the years at an open-house celebration of his life on Saturday June 15th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Moxi Theater (802 9th St.) in downtown Greeley. All who knew and loved him or his family are welcome to attend. Bill’s larger than life personality (and voice) will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
