Obituary of James Madison Cardwell
James Cardwell, 59, of Evans, Colorado, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2022 in Aurora, Colorado.
James was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Samuel Cardwell & Catalina ‘Cathy’ (Martinez) Luna on October 6, 1962.
James was always a loving first born child to his mother. When he grew up, he joined the National Guard and served honorably. James loved his family and was known to have a big heart for his mother. He would, “Give the shirt off of his back for anyone.” James was also a big joker, a ‘Mr. Know-It-All’, to his family.
He had a big love for fishing, and working with his hands. He will be truly missed.
James is survived by his mother & father; siblings, Christopher (Jennifer) Cardwell, Samantha (Chapo) Sanchez, and Nathan Cardwell; nephews & nieces, Jamie, Christine, Jason, Nathanial Sr., Anthony, Eli, and Jasmine Cardwell; grandniece & nephew, Nathanial Jr. Cardwell, and Niyleah Lujan; and a large loving extended family.
He was preceded in death by aunt, Irma Mondragon; and uncles, Joe & Robert Martinez.
A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Victory Christian Fellowship, 6101 W 10th St, Greeley, CO 80634.
